Reporting to the Manager, Supplier Relationship Management, this role supports the Operations team in Supplier Relationship Management who are responsible for day-to-day operational management of 3rd party suppliers.

This role demands a resourceful, independent problem solver with proven relationship building skills, attention to detail, analytical capabilities as well as a diplomatic, yet direct approach to communication.


What will you do?

  • Establish relationships and support integration of operational activities with new suppliers
  • Support, coach, mentor and provide training to junior team members
  • Act as point of escalation between service providers and internal business partners
  • Monitor Supplier Service Levels, defects and trends to identify root cause for recommendations to improve processes with suppliers and provide input into scorecards to evaluate performance
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by utilizing the Brighter Way Management System (BWMS) to drive change
  • Demonstrate and reinforce the ability to build relationships within and across teams, and with 3rd party partners
  • Lead supplier operational meetings and/or quarterly business reviews to foster strong relationships with suppliers and/or internal business partners
  • Understand the business impact of reported issues, recognizing high priority issues and escalating appropriately, driving for resolution with 3rd party suppliers or internal IT
  • Participate in various projects, identifying service changes with our 3rd party suppliers, and assessing their impact to our operational management
  • Contribute to Statement of Work (SOW) reviews, supporting to refine any details related to operational processes
  • Deliver insightful weekly updates to leadership, regarding current supplier performance and any supplier issues

What will be nice to have?

  • Indepth knowledge of reporting tools (Microsoft Excel)
  • Supply Chain Certificate with focus on contract experience, including understanding of pricing model
  • Project Management skills or experience
