Position Overview:


Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible to supervise production support staff as well as overseeing the day to day operations of the tool cribs and supporting the production departments.


What You Will Do:


  • Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork to ensure set productivity and performance targets are met
  • Correcting poor performance or workplace behavior in accordance with company directives;
  • Acting as a focal point for production support matters with client and customer onsite personnel;
  • Ensuring all tools are properly maintained and controlled in accordance with client and customer needs ensuring the highest level of Air Safety Standards.
  • Development and oversight of weekly tool audits
  • Planning and moving of flight controls throughout IMP facilities
  • Plan and organize the daily activities of the supervised staff to include the scheduling of overtime and maintenance of the Warehouse
  • Keeping stock/inventory control systems up to date and accurate;
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a reoccurring basis, and sharing these stats with employees so they can be held accountable.
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, environmental stewardship and security in the work environment by ensuring appropriate training is provided and operating procedures are adhered to;
  • Managing company owned and customer supplied assets to include the overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment;
  • Instituting and practicing lean warehousing techniques to eliminate waste;
  • Ensuring manpower is equitably distributed to meet needs dictated by workload

What You Will Bring:


  • Undergraduate degree preferred and at least three years' experience in Aerospace or Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) and related fields.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience. Alternatively, a suitable combination of education, training, civil/military experience and a solid record of achievement.
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Ability to problemsolve and resolve customer issues in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and computer skills are a must.
  • Must have a strong logístical and customer service background.
  • Must be familiar with MS Office Products (Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft office) and Warehouse/Inventory Management Systems.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret statistical data relating to the effective and efficient analysis of the operation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities in your area.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC
  • Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.***
