We are a fast-growing organization, currently seeking a Scheduler to be a member of our high-achieving, diverse, innovating consulting team.

This is a full-time, non-remote position based in downtown Toronto


The Opportunity


The Scheduler will manage several scheduling activities and deadlines to gain a clearer picture of client, team and project needs.

This is a key role as you will drive for results through effective schedule creation and management through all phases of the project.


  • Assist the project team through baseline schedule development and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to keep schedules up to date and accurate while keeping actual work assessment analysis top of mind.
  • Effectively review, interpret and update project schedules.
  • Support and lead client schedule related meetings.
  • Expert knowledge of the critical path method and a related software system (e.g., Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project)
  • Demonstrate knowledge and leadership with Health & Safety standards, act, regulations and codes applicable to our projects.
  • Achieve all schedule deliverables.
  • Build the project schedule based on standards and contractual targets and data provided.
  • Perform schedule analysis to identify gaps, delays and key project issues.
  • Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline.
  • Focus on early identification of potential delays, including the status on risks and margin related to schedule.
  • Prepare schedule and progress reports as required.

Education/Qualifications

  • College/university graduate or equivalent combination of technical skills and experience.
  • 5+ years of related project experience with an engineering, consulting, or professional services company or companies.
  • Firm understanding of the Scheduling discipline.
  • Superior working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proven track record of project scheduling success.
  • Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
  • The ability to quickly identify schedule related issues and risks, identify possible causes, produce effective solutions and collaboratively work with a large team to successful completion.
  • Experience working across various sectors/industries is a plus.
  • Seeks challenging opportunities across businesses and borders.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills: able to manage competing priorities/deadlines, as well as the flexibility to adjust to changing operational needs.
  • High degree of social intelligence, integrity, and maturity.
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and selfmotivated working style.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and evaluate situations and solve problems creatively with tact and good judgement.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain strict standards of confidentiality.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relations with clients.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.
  • Able to work inoffice, nonremote, in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
