KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties:

Using a chainsaw to cut engineered product
Offload inbound truckload material using a forklift
Receive all goods into WMS system using RF scan gun
Weekly cycle inventory counts for various divisions
Monitor adherence to WMS procedures through inventory inaccuracies
Review any receiving discrepancies and adjust accordingly
Work in tandem with various departments to ensure all inventory is accurate
Inspect all product defects and liaise with the Purchasing department
Work with the Inventory Control Team and all other departments to fulfill Continuous Improvement goals
Other jobrelated duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

Training:

Minimum 5 years experience operating a forklift

Requirements:

Forklift skills

Physically fit

Able to lift 60 lbs or more
Able to work well with a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Outstanding attention to detail and prioritization skills
Strives for Continuous Improvement
Must be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment

Assets:

Chainsaw experience
WMS/RF Navigator experience
Building Product knowledge

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/UNIQUE ASPECTS OF JOB

Physical Exertion:

Position requires lifting up to 60 lbs or more and being on your feet for long periods of time during all seasons.

Equipment Used:
Forklift, Chainsaw, RF Navigator Inventory Gun

WORK HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime as required
