Description

Working within the Pharmacy, and reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Cashier is responsible for delivering world-class customer service.

Duties include ensuring that all prescriptions are provided to the correct patient, operating cash registers and taking payment from customers, assisting with merchandising, displaying packaged products, assisting pharmacy staff, and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

Previous cashier experience in a retail environment would be an asset
Basic computer knowledge, POS knowledge, and familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash register, scanner, money counters, etc.
Ability to adapt to new technology
High level of integrity and work ethic
Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
