Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver program plans while implementing, engaging, creative activities for youth (ages 1118)
Follow appropriate program models and mandates (academic success, middle years focused, youth preemployment, positive youth mental health, youth leadership,)
Create a welcoming environment for children and youth that encourages daily participation, belonging, expression, and wellbeing.
Demonstrate use of positive behaviour guidance
Follow all guidelines as set out by the Ministry, School Board, and BGC Hamilton Halton
Ensure program health & safety protocols are followed
A commitment to the Clubs mission, Vision and Core Values
Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Experience working with youth and teens (ages in a recreational, residential treatment, or education setting is preferred
Fluency in Arabic an asset
Standard First Aid and CPR-C and Safe Food Handlers
High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset
Present an acceptable police Vulnerable Sector check and have a valid First Aid /CPR Certificate level C.
