The
Medical Solutions Lead is responsible for the tactical implementation of the medical strategy and collaborates with the Immunology Medical team and other members of the iPVU cross-functional members including Marketing Leads and Coordinators, Education Stakeholder Development Lead, APEX, Sales, and Regulatory as needed.

This individual will be required to have a field presence and maintain customer relationships with identified key stakeholders. The Medical Strategy Lead will also maintain the highest level of disease and product knowledge.


You will contribute by:


  • Collaborating with other members of the iPVU to create/ adapt programs and materials to create patient value and allow UCB to achieve its objective together with input and guidance from the Medical Strategy Lead.
  • Serving as a scientific expert and Evidence Generation lead within the Canadian Immunology iPVU.
  • Identifying and fosters purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value.
  • Collaborating to advance local patient valueorientated initiatives with key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring UCB Operational Compliance to the highest professional standards, including scientific expert review of material for Canadian use.
  • Contributing to a clear, well designed strategic and tactical plan to deliver optimal patient value and thereby achieve UCB's objectives.
  • Influencing to a highly rated and impactful educational programs, Evidence Generation and local publication plans.
  • Fielding activity that demonstrates strong, purposeful relationships with national and regional KOLs.

education, experience, and
skills:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Preferred: PhD with 5 years' experience in a medical function (i.e. Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisory, Medical Manager) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical environment, the customers and internal operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering quality, relevant medical education programs.
  • Established relationships with external scientific and clinical experts in dermatology and rheumatology in Canada.
