What you'll do - The opportunity

Description:

Reporting to the Packaging Manager, the Packaging Operator is responsible for packaging the highest quality of beer within the canning line at the Brewery and coordinating with different departments to ensure all production and packaging needs are met.

Must be able to work all shifts on a rotating schedule (days, afternoons & nights). Shifts rotate on a two-week basis.

Hourly rate:
$21.25 plus applicable shift premiums.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate and assist in all packaging operations to meet production and shipping schedules
Work in compliance with company and regulatory policies
Report unusual incidents and accidents and assist in developing corrective measures
Work closely with all departments and crew leaders to ensure that internal and external customers are being adequately serviced
Assist in onthejob training
Maintain production documents
Maintain a clean and safe workstation and area
Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report nonconformities
Other duties as required

Requirements:

19+ years of age
Mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Trouble shooting ability
Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24hour operation, may be required to work weekends
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new job skills
Demonstrated ability to meet Packaging job requirements, including initiative, safety, housekeeping, attendance and productivity
