Reporting to the Manager, Billing Compliance, the Billing Rate Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting with client/matter rate submissions in the Accounting System, Alternative Fee Arrangement (AFA) database and multiple eBilling Platforms.
Major Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely set up and maintenance of client/matter rates in the Accounting System, Alternative Fee Arrangement (AFA) database and multiple eBilling Platforms.
- Liaisons with Billing Compliance Specialists and Pricing Analytics Team on rate submissions.
Position Requirements
- Education and Experience_
- Knowledge and Skills_
- Highly analytical problem solver and mastery of advanced data functions (pivots, vlookup, formulas, etc.).
- Very high attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, while maintaining efficiency.
- Knowledge of SQL would be an asset but not required.
- Experience with eBilling systems (e.g. Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Tymetrix, etc.) would be an asset but not required.
- Proven ability to work crossfunctionally with Accounting, Finance and other business units.
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fastpaced everchanging work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
- Proactive approach to work, with mindset of continuous innovation and improvements.
