What to Expect- International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to parttime depending on their academic standing.
Our year around program places the best students in positions that they will grow both technically and personally through their experience working closely with their Manager, Mentor, and team.
We are dedicated to providing an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at Tesla by given them projects that are critical to their team's success.
What You'll Do- Study graphite surface reactivity with physical and electrochemical characterization methods
- Study how different paired cathodes affect anode performance
- Basic knowledge: graphite, lithium battery, physically and chemical characterization methods for cell materials
- Characterization methods: XPS, NMR, Raman, EIS, coin cell and EL cell testing
- Good communication skills
- 3/4th year undergraduate, Master's, or PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering
