Description
The I.T. Help Desk Technician is the first contact, assisting our users with technical issues, providing solutions, and ensuring seamless operations across our systems, while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Manage help desk tickets with efficiency and professionalism.
· Provide timely and effective solutions and advice on a wide range of technical issues.
· Create user-friendly manuals and guides for technical training purposes.
· Utilize customer feedback to continuously improve problem-solving techniques and enhance customer service experience.
· Respond promptly to texts, emails, and calls regarding technical inquiries.
· Document and analyze technical issues and customer interactions to identify trends and patterns.
· Attend training sessions to stay updated with the latest best practices in technical support.
· Occasionally travel to branch locations to provide deskside support when required.
· Contribute to the creation of Knowledge Base Articles for common issues to facilitate end-user self-service.
· Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects and initiatives.
· Assist with software and hardware installations and upgrades.
· Conduct user training sessions on new systems or applications.
· Participate in IT infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
· Assist in the implementation of IT security protocols and measures.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent or related field preferred.
· Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and analytically.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using help desk software and remote support tools.
· Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices is a plus.
· A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
