Overview


The Assessments department of WorkSafeBC is looking for an
Assessments Co-op student to join our team to help us strive towards our vision.


Where you'll work


At WorkSafeBC, we offer a
hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you'll work primarily from your B.C. home and be on-site occasionally in our Richmond office.

What you'll do

  • Assist with data entry using customized account management systems.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile and track data.

  • Use strong analytical skills to review data and information.
  • Quickly learn multiple computer programs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and an above average degree of accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

Your background and experience

  • Enrolled in a Business Administration or IT related program
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite, including Excel and Word
  • Previous coop or relevant work experience in an office environment is preferred
