Technology is looking for a
Researcher - R&D Process Commissioning to take a proactive role in our Biology team. She/he will be part of the Biology A&S team located in Canada, Oakville, ON.


Responsibilities include:


  • Support NPIs activities in coordination with R&D Program & Field Implementation Leaders
  • Collaborate closely with Field implementation team to bridge electromechanical (E&M) activities with R&D process plans. Support R&D process commissioning and operation including lab/pilot/site troubleshooting, improvement, data acquisition & analytics after transfer from E&M team
  • Interact daily with process engineers and experts from Biology team, commercialization incubation team, Product Managers (particularly Zeelung, Zeeweed ) and Process Engineering as proactive R&D partner to ideate, develop, disseminate and ground innovation within the business reality

Location:


  • Oakville, Ontario, Canada
  • Travels: 30% annually on average. 20% to 50% travel function of project's needs

Qualifications:


  • Technologist diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Master in Water & Environmental Engineering, Sciences
  • Courses or handson experience from 0 (junior considered) to 5 years in environmental sciences, water treatment, wastewater treatment, chemistry or biochemistry labs, E&M
  • Interest or experience in laboratory protocols, pilot/WWTPs operation, commissioning, and/or design, engineering in water industry; experience in wastewater will be a plus
  • Familiar with or interest in engineering documents (PID, PFD, PLC/SCADA, design), commissioning (dry, wet, process) and/or operation
