Lane Closure Technician / LCT

Requirement:

-
BCCSA approved Traffic Control Person certification:

1 year of Highway truck experience (preferred):

-
Drug Test is required for this project:

Ability to effectively communicate with drivers and operators
Personal transportation to commute to site

Responsibilities:

Directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to safe routes around road construction sites
Assist in accessing and exiting work sites and reporting to questions
Assist with set up and maintenance of project signage and barricades including daily barricade reports
Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
Setting up and providing traffic control specifications
Reviewing traffic management plans
Training other site workers about traffic and equipment safety
Performing other related duties as required.

Locations:
Port Moody, Chilliwack, Alder grove, Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Langley, Bridal Falls, Agassiz, Harrison Mills, Hope and Mission

Salary:
$29.00-$32.00 per hour
