:SLWK 5004, "Field Work and Seminar"

Note:

this course is part of the
MSW program.**The part-time academic position is responsible for guiding a series of seminars, liaising with student field placement agencies for a series of meetings, dealing with any issues that arise within the field placement, overseeing the completion of an academic presentation, and conferring on final grades.

The part-time academic should expect to be engaged in course preparations preceding course delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Educational background with extensive experience in social work (or related fields) is required.

Solid knowledge of a variety of social work skills and the ability to impart these skills to students. A Master of Social Work degree (or higher) and previous teaching experience is preferred.
