Short Description:
As a Herc Rentals ProSales Associate you will begin a fast-track learning journey through the Black & Gold Academy. We will prepare you for immediate placement into a Territory Sales Representative position with opportunity for future roles in management, region sales management, national accounts and more
Responsibilities:
- Enter a fasttrack sales development program.
- Build on basic sales and leadership skills to become a talented sales professional.
- Learn about the equipment rental industry and gain knowledge of a wide variety of the equipment we rent and sell.
- Work alongside our leadership and sales team to visit customer job sites and make sales calls as well as learning our branch operations.
- Contribute to the revenue growth of a sales territory.
- Gain exposure to specialty divisions within the company such as National Accounts, Industrial Sales, Entertainment Services and Energy Services
Eligibility Criteria:
- Recent University Graduate
- Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Less than Five Years Work Experience:
- Have fewer than five years of professional work experience.
- Exhibit a keen interest in advancing a career in sales.
- Military Veteran
Conditions of Employment:
- 13 years of customer service or sales experience required 1 to 2 years of previous inside or businesstobusiness sales experience within the industrial, equipment rental or construction sectors Ability to make outbound calls and generate sales needs on a daily basis
Skills: - Ability to work as part of a team
- Selfmotivated and competitive personality
- Understands the importance of time management
- 100% response rate to all inbound requests. This will include customer requests and also Sales Development Support needs
- Ability to engage in natural verbal interaction with customers and utilize sales methods to close deals
- Ability to work well with others across many organizations including branch locations, sales and marketing, finance, customer support, and field services
- Be Visible
- Be an outspoken advocate of the Brand. Become the most sought after sales person on your regional teams.
- Communicate
- Be proactive and initiate sales activities with Sales Reps and Branch/District Managers

$24 to $25 an hour
