Ce poste régulier à temps plein est maintenant disponible aux écoles John Adam Memorial et St.Lawrence, situées respectivement au 120 montée des Bouleaux, Delson et au 148 boul. Champlain, Candiac.

NATURE DU TRAVAIL:
Exécuter des travaux selon le guide d'entretien et selon les instructions de l'administration de l'école et du centre, et du concierge de jour.

TÂCHES:
La personne salariée de cette classe d'emplois:
assure la propreté des lieux et le bon état de l'équipement tel que système de chauffage, de ventilation,

d'éclairage, appareils et équipements d'entretien ;
- veille au fonctionnement d'un type d'appareil de chauffage qui ne requiert pas la présence de mécanicienne
- ou de mécanicien de machines fixes ;
effectue certains travaux d'entretien tels que déneigement, réparation des portes, des fenêtres et du mobilier ;
prend tous les moyens nécessaires en vue d'assurer une sécurité adéquate contre le vol ou l'incendie ;
contrôle, dans certains cas spécifiques et selon les besoins, les entrées et sorties des visiteurs, des élèves et

du personnel ;
peut être appelée à superviser des travaux effectués par d'autres personnes salariées non spécialisées ;
au besoin, accomplit toute autre tâche connexe.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES:
Avoir un minimum de trois (3) années d'expérience pertinente ;
Avoir une connaissance générale du fonctionnement des différents mécanismes à surveiller : chauffage,
- ventilation, éclairage et systèmes d'alarme ;
Avoir une connaissance rudimentaire des principaux métiers du bâtiment.

AUTRES EXIGENCES:
Pouvoir communiquer en français ou en anglais ;
Travailler avec un minimum de supervision ou fréquemment sans supervision ;

HORAIRE: Du lundi au vendredi, de 15 h 45 à 20 h 15 à l'école John Adam Memorial ave une pause repas de 30 minutes de 19 h 00 à 19 h 30 & de 20 h 30 à 24 h 00 à l'école St Lawrence. Un temps de déplacement (15 minutes) est alloué de 20 h15 à 20 h 30.

TRAITEMENT: 875,36 $ pour 38.75 heures par semaine, avec une prime de soir de 0,75 $ de l'heure.

NIGHT CARETAKER, CLASS II (100%)

This regular full time position is presently available at the following elementary schools: John Adam Memorial school located at 120 montée des Bouleaux, in Delson and St.Lawrence school located at 148 Champlain Blvd in Candiac

NATURE OF WORK:
Carry out maintenance work according to the Caretaking Handbook and under the direction of the School and Center Administration and the Day Caretaker.

CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for:
cleaning the premises and seeing to the proper operation of the heating, ventilation, lighting systems,

maintenance apparatus and equipment;
surveying the operation of the type of heating equipment which does not require the presence of a stationary engineer;
carrying out certain maintenance work such as: some snow removal, repairs to doors, windows, furniture;
taking all necessary measures to assure adequate security against fire and theft;
controlling comings and goings of visitors, students and personnel in certain specific cases and according to requirements;
supervising the work performed by other non-specialised employees;
performing any other related task, if need be.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least three years of pertinent experience.

Have a general knowledge of the operation of the heating, ventilation, lighting and alarm systems that a

night caretaker oversees.

Have a basic knowledge of the main building trades.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
To be able to communicate in English and in French.

Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and/or frequently un-supervised.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 3:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at John Adam Memorial school with a 30-minute meal break from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence School, with a period of 15 minutes to travel between the two schools from 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

SALARY: $875.36 for a 38.75-hour week + evening premium of $0.75 per hour.
