Description:


WHO YOU ARE:
The part-time Sample Coordinator at Ardene is responsible for managing sample assortments In this role, the Sample Coordinator will build strong working relationships with multiple departments to successfully identify, track samples critical to a successful production workflow including: Pre-production, Photo studio, eCommerce and Marketing


Responsabilities include:

  • Unbox all products received and organize samples based on receipt dates on a daily basis (apparel, footwear, accessories)
  • Scan in all apparel merchandise to note when received (in internal use)
  • Document and organize all apparel, footwear and accessories on a spreadsheet daily
  • Prioritize merchandise for ecommerce photoshoots
  • Keep all product records and documentation organized and readily accessible
  • Locate inventory samples and making sure styles are prioritized
  • Proactively communicate with Merchandising and Buying for any missing products (apparel, footwear, accessories)
  • Support footwear and accessories photographer when possible to steam and prepare accessories
  • Supporting on other tasks and special projects as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in retail environment
  • Proficiency in PC and Mac iOS platforms, Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Photo Studio or retail fashion background preferred
