Solutions Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and maintain strategic relationships in target market(s), such as solution providers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), hardware vendors, suppliers of related products, industry associations and influencers.
  • Deliver product training and product demonstrations to Canon and dealer Sales Representatives
  • Drive sales by partnering with sales teams and recommending customized solutions based on customer requirements, including responses to RFPs
  • Research the competitive landscape and identify how to differentiate Canon products, gaining a competitive advantage
  • Provide postpurchase integration support to clients that are working with recently installed product, when needed
  • Liaise between Canon dealers and ITCG Lead Generation Marketing to define dealer marketing capabilities and requirements, increasing dealer sales through nontraditional marketing methods

To Succeed, You Will Need:


  • Postsecondary education in a technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Extensive computer/technical skills are required to discuss, troubleshoot, and analyze customer workflow solutions for printers/scanners using Mac and PC
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to assess customer and internal needs, identify multiple perspectives and provide an appropriate solution
  • Solid time and project management skills
