Duties & Responsibilities

Work in conjunction with JA Tech's technical & construction team to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, specialized installation, commissioning, & startup of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system
Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech's Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual
Comply with Electrical Code, safety standards, & other applicable legislation
Perform other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications

Valid apprentice card
Valid Fall Protection
GMSA is an asset
Strong interpersonal, communication, & problemsolving skills
Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)
High voltage terminations and/or Fiber experience is considered an asset
Industrial Site experience
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without supervision
Self motivates with a proactive attitude & ability to pitch in & do what is required
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Willingness to travel regularly to job sites
Proficiency in the Windows environment & Microsoft Office
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
