About the Centre for Initiatives in Education

The Centre for Initiatives in Education ( a department in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, facilitates access to university for under-served and at-risk groups.

We offer a community of care and academic supports that build learners' confidence and capacity through evidence-based, student-centred pedagogy and practices.

The Enriched Support Program offers a supported first-year experience to students. The Department is committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive academic environment.
