A Snapshot of Your Day

As an employee memberof union 869, you will perform all verification work surrounding engines andengine accessories, including installation of engines or engine accessories onverification equipment.

You will be able to start, control and monitor enginesor engine accessories using verification documents. The employee will be ableto complete, compile and compare performance test data to key performanceindicators (KPI).

Your profile:

Graduate from ENA ou EMAM ou CCEA

Your responsibilities:

The employee mustcorrect any minor air, fuel or oil leak and replace any accessories required toproperly complete verifications. It must perform initial troubleshooting stepsand identify test problems that require a basic understanding of enginefunctioning and auxiliary systems.

The employee willperform routine inspections, along with test bench installation and auxiliarysystem maintenance, while ensuring the readiness and availability of testingsystems.

Here are a list ofsecondary tasks:

Electrical verifications using equipment (multimiter,DitmCO)
Repairing and polishing components using repair drawings and schematics
Rubbing pad
Manufacture and repair of the engine electrical connections
Staring and stopping gas compressors
Assisting in development program pretests, risk analyses,preparation tests, and posttesting (lessons learned)
Assisting in test bench configuration modifications
Installing pipes that were removed during the engine's transportation to the test bench
Removing pipes from engines that required storage
Update the work plan in the system and verbally
Ensure that the expiration dates of calibrated and lifting tools are consistent, as well as outofstock hardware parts (bin items) within their respective workstations.
