Michael's Department of Family and Community Medicine and Academic Family Health Team is a large dynamic and diverse group comprised of five Family Medicine clinics, all located in Toronto's downtown core serving 50,000 patients.

Our Department is strongly committed to the care of the inner-city population. Its mission is to improve health through advocacy, equity and world leading primary health care, teaching and research.

St.

Michael's is also home to the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, encompassing the Keenan Research Centre and the Li Ka Shing International Healthcare Education Centre, which integrates researchers, educators, and clinicians to advance patient care.


QUALIFICATIONS
A graduate degree or equivalent in health services research, epidemiology, a relevant social science or related fields is required. An outstanding record of accomplishment in research including grants, publications and presentations appropriate for career stage is required.

Evidence of working with policy makers and/or teams across disciplines to answer complex health care questions and engagement of the end users of research is a critical asset.

A commitment to social justice and equity is a critical attribute.

Compensation and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
