The
Account Receivable Clerk will be reporting to the Corporate Controller, the incumbent will be responsible for providing Accounts Receivable support to the business.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform the full cycle of accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform credit card reconciliations and process payments.
  • Analyze receivable accounts and contact customers on past due balances.
  • Maintain monthly reconciliation between AR subledger and general ledger.
  • Record cash receipt journals and other entries as required.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met for accounts receivable closings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Issue weekly aging reports and contract accrual analysis to operations for review.
  • Prepare monthly statements or other reports as requested.
  • Such other duties may be assigned from time to time.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Technically adept with intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word); experience with ERP systems is preferred (D365,) or other Microsoftbased systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and work with a high degree of accuracy with mínimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to follow and understand processes and controls.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external audiences.
