Providence Living Society has provided care to disadvantaged elders from the inner city for over 100 years. We are recognized by Vancouver Costal Health as a specialized provider in Long Term Care home and Assisted Living.

JOB SUMMARY:


Positions at this level perform a variety of duties within a food service operation such as portioning and serving meals, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items such as tea, coffee and toast, and washing dishes and utensils.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education, Training and Experience:

Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.


Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to operate related equipment
  • Ability to organize work.
