  • This contract will run from January to April, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate the preemployment process, which includes background checks, reference checks, completing onboarding documents, I9 verification, etc.
  • Send new hire details on the preemployment onboarding process.
  • Create and manage access levels to Workday & Greenhouse.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy with governmentregulated employment documents.
  • Maintain and update company directories and HRIS.
  • Updating trackers/spreadsheets to ensure consistency in information to all internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to general inquiries and referral followups in a shared inbox.
  • Act as the main point of contact for new hires prior to their start date.
  • Uphold and embody Paper's mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications:


  • Experience with Workday.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Motivated selfstarter with a passion for learning.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and strong written communication.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines & tasks.
  • Knowledge of Canadian/US employment laws and regulations is considered an asset.
