We are currently seeking a self-motivated
Distribution Center Manager to fill a position that will be based in
Sturgeon Falls, Ontario.

This position is a full-time role and hours of work will be 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience:

Formal Education
Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
Work Experience
At least 5 years' experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
Knowledge of ERP (Oracle) software systems and proficiency in MS Office
Experience working and developing the Lean, 5S Culture Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Highly effective supervisory skills; techniques, sound judgement, strong organizational skills
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
An excellent customer service, both internally and externally, that ensures customer needs, queries and disputes are resolved efficiently, timeously and professionally

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):
Coordinates activities of staff employees.
Guides, manages, and directs the activities of subordinates and functions of assigned area.
Analyzes and organizes area operations and procedures.
Monitors and evaluates area production.
Revises or creates procedures to improve efficiency of workflow.
Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records.
Plans office layouts and initiates cost reduction programs.
Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Prepares activity reports for guidance of management using computer or other automated office equipment.
Prepares employee performance evaluations.
May prepare area budget and monthly financial reports.
Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff.
May compile, store and retrieve managerial data.
Reporting Relationship

The position reports directly to the Global Supply Chain Manager for Global Transportation and Compliance and NAM Warehousing, who is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
