About the role

Your position
We are looking for a
Compensation & Working Conditions Consultant for our national team as part of the larger Human Resources team


As a Compensation & Working Conditions Consultant, you will act as a resource person and provide advice and support with respect to compensation, guiding principles and the interpretation of policies related to total compensation and working conditions.

You will contribute to the review, improvement and maintenance of policies and programs related to total compensation and working conditions.

This permanent full-time position is based in Montreal.


Here are some of the ways you're going to make a difference:

  • Offer support and provide advice and act as a resource person on compensation and working conditions.
  • Perform cost and impact analysis of new initiatives in total compensation and working conditions, working closely with members of the HR community, legal services, or other business units.
  • Propose improvements based on best market practices, participate in the review or development of policies and programs, and ensure their deployment.
  • Develop job aids, tools and training or information materials. Facilitate training or information sessions.
  • Participate in the administration of the regular operations of the compensation team (annual audits, compensation surveys and conditions of employment, etc.)
  • Participate in special projects.

Your skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, law or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French and English) (required). _Need to interact on a regular basis with an Englishspeaking clientele and colleagues across the country_._
  • Pragmatism, great sense of organization and results oriented
  • Indepth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Rigorous, attention to detail, problemsolving skills
  • Professionalism and great discretion
  • Knowledge of Workday (asset)
