The Role:

You are responsible for digitizing, pattern making, grading and marker making of SMYTHE patterns using the PAD System. This is an in-person position that reports to the Head of Production.

You Will:

Create patterns for new development and facilitate pattern adjustments for new collections using PAD
Work closely with Designers, Product Development & Production teams
Utilize a solid understanding of fabric characteristics, patterns, fit and design features
Finalize patterns for production
Grade
Create spec sheets and pattern lists for offshore production
Lead production marker making

You Have:

5+ years of posteducational experience in making patterns, grading and markermaking
Experience working with PAD is preferred
College Degree or Diploma in apparel design and manufacturing
Strong knowledge of pattern making, specifically woven garments and tailored blazers
The ability to learn quickly, work independently and multitask
Strong organizational skills and are detailoriented
Sewing knowledge and experience is an asset
