Summary

Main responsibilities

New business

  • - Evaluate, suggest and establish bonding capacity conditions for contractors.
  • - Review terms with brokers and contractors.
  • - Handle new business analyzing, underwriting, and servicing based on insurer guidelines.
  • - Recommend specific bond wording adjustments if necessary.

Renewals

  • - Process renewals following insurer guidelines.
  • - Propose and apply changes to policy conditions when needed.
  • - Collaborate with team members on current and future opportunities.
  • - Assist underwriters in redefining renewal terms.

Development

  • - Build strong relationships with brokers by providing top-notch service.
  • - Represent the company at industry events.
  • - Foster business connections with new and existing brokers through marketing visits.

Profile

  • - 1 to 3 years' experience in financial analysis.
  • - Previous experience in bonding or a related field.
  • - Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting.
  • - Strong analytical and decision-making skills with solid technical knowledge.
  • - Capacity to synthesize information effectively.
  • - Adaptability and flexibility to embrace change.
  • - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • - Strong sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize tasks.
