Responsibilities:


ABOUT THE JOB:


What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

  • Support all Market Data technologies, including Refinitiv RTDS, RMDS, DACS.
  • Support Bloomberg BPIPE and terminal related connectivity.
  • Design and implement market data infrastructure solutions for various business lines.
  • Handle documentation, tracking and resolution of issues, monitoring recurring issues and suggesting long term solutions.
  • Participate in projects to implement or enhance MKD (Market Data) services.
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve the Market Data platform services.
  • Act as liaison to the IT division and the Business to gather requirements for platform software enhancements and upgrades.
  • Works closely with the business and IT to develop cost effective, operationally supportable solutions that meet complex requirements.
  • Recommend and design new technologies and solutions, including hardware and software, and provide documentation for projects.
  • Handle the delivery of assignments within specified time frames, adhering to all established standards and guidelines.

Work schedule:

Ability to provide coverage for 7:00 AM-7:00 PM production hours, as well as availability for weeknight and weekend on-call support.

Skills and Qualifications:


Technical Skills:


Must have:


  • Excellent technical skills in administration on Refinitiv RTDS/RMDS, DACS, Elektron_DD and Bloomberg BPIPE.
  • Multicast, firewall, load balancer and other network troubleshooting.
  • Design and architecture on networking, software, and other hardware solutions
  • Software platform performance tuning and capacity management.
  • Previous experience working in a large 24x7 investment banking environment within the realms of a Change Management / ITIL process.

Nice-to-have:


  • Knowledge in Linux administration.
  • Python, ansible, shell and other programming/scripting languages.
  • High Frequency trading environment experience desired
  • Experience with network firewall and policy configuration

Competencies:


  • Previous experience as a Market Data administrator and engineer.
  • Client focused, with a strong customer service mentality and ability to work with developers, users, and other staff.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail and goal oriented and dedicated to accomplishing tasks in timely manner.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to a new environment quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.

Education:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science and/or related Engineering technologies.


Languages:
English, French.
