About Us:
Located in Scarborough Ontario, Kobay Enstel Limited is a quality manufacturer of automotive stampings and sub-assemblies. We are currently looking for Press Set up Operators to join our team on Day and Afternoon Shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in compliance with all _Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario_ including Environmental laws as well as Kobay's Enstel Limited Health & Safety Procedures.
- Operate On/Off switch.
- Able to perform all aspects of press setups efficiently and safely.
- With guidelines from the supervisor operate presses, decoilers, feeders, conveyors, and forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform Quick Die Change as per Q.D.C. Procedure with minimum supervision
- Support production in all areas including press and welding.
- Pack parts as required.
- Complete shift assignment sheet accurately and timely to indicate achieved productivity.
- Participates in all aspects of lean manufacturing.
- Maintain / produces a level of output that will minimize production delays.
Minimum Knowledge / Prerequisites:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role and environment as a Press Set up operator.
- Expert knowledge of the capabilities of the presses in the work area.
- Grade 12 education.
- Good parts process knowledge.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Can complete task even with constant interruptions.
- Good problem solving skills.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
