A role you will love
Computershare's Plans PMO team oversees projects and programs in the Computershare Plan Managers business. This includes acquisitions, integrations, data migrations, new products, and regulatory change.
We provide business solutions, improvements, change management and strategic planning in the areas of people, process, and technology for the Global Computershare Plans business.
We are looking for individuals to work across a large-scale change, which is a high profile, global program within the Plans division.
The Project Manager will have to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders while pulling together information from across the program to create an achievable plan for each event, and then manage it to completion.
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of companywide major projects or workstreams. You will lead a cross-functional team across areas such as Product, Operations, and Technology with business SMEs.You will have oversight of challenging projects, providing the platform to build good working relationships across all levels of management and staff, with colleagues in different global regions of Computershare.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage Projects to the correct level of governance and in line with our project management methodology
- Client facing
- Work collaboratively and build relationships with internal stakeholders, managing their expectations to ensure the business objectives are being delivered
- Manage workshops and meetings with business and technology
- Validate business cases to ensure solutions are appropriate to the ROI and all benefits are measurable
- Analyse complex issues and identify root causes
- Work collaboratively and build relationships with internal stakeholders to elicit requirements acceptance criteria to ensure the business objectives and product vision is being delivered
- Support the business to ensure readiness for change (e.g. UAT, Training, documentation etc.)
Skills/ experience/ competencies:
As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a real passion for project management that possess the ability to bring people together to work collaboratively, define objectives, and influence stakeholders to get the best outcome.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Proven ability to successfully deliver tactical and strategic business solutions
- Client facing
- Experience of dealing with different levels of stakeholders and colleagues from all areas of the business
- Positive, pragmatic, and collaborative approach, results driven
- Experience with producing high quality written documentation, slides, and project plans
- Financial Services industry experience preferred
- Broad understanding of people, process, and technology preferred
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from fouryear college or university; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
