Field Technician Student for the term

May - August 2023, located in the community of

La Broquerie. This position reports to the

Manager of Agronomic Services.

Your days will include:

  • Collect soil samples according to established protocol with GPS equipment
  • Package and ship soil samples
  • Assist Nutrient Management Team with sampling and data collection procedures
  • Perform water sampling activities and assist with preparations for the source water monitoring program and assist in preparing source water sampling kits
  • General administrative duties and other duties as assigned
  • Some heavy lifting required
To succeed in this role, you need to possess:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Selfmotivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
  • High School Diploma
  • Preference will be given to the individual who is enrolled in a postsecondary education program with a focus in agriculture or environmental related disciplines
