What we are looking for:
As a Patient Support Assistant, you will become an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team (IDHCT) responsible for the comprehensive care of patients through the Resource Team.
Additionally, you will be tasked with non-patient care support duties, including stocking treatment areas and carts, maintaining linen supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness of patient rooms (for admission and discharge), utility rooms, nursing station, tub and shower rooms, and patient care equipment.
As an effective team member, you will utilize your strong communication skills and actively participate in quality management initiatives.- Assisting the patients with the basic activities of daily living, e.g. bathing, nutrition, positioning, and ambulation.
- Performing nonpatient care support duties, including:
- Stocking treatment areas and carts
- Maintaining linen supplies
- Ensuring cleanliness of patient rooms (for admission and discharge)
- Managing utility rooms
- Maintaining cleanliness of nursing station, tub and shower rooms, and patient care equipment.
- Utilizing strong communication skills and actively participating in quality management initiatives as an effective team member.
