We have a full-time opportunity for a
Manager, Content Partnerships to join our
Content team.

As a Manager, Content Partnerships, you will manage and proactively develop a portfolio of content partners across the globe.

You will build strong long-lasting relationships, provide the support partners may need and you will drive revenue in your assigned region.

As a keen communicator, you will negotiate commercial terms with existing and future business partners, and collaborate closely with many internal teams.


Aiming for a comprehensive and immersive content offering, you will engage your creative and analytical skills to drive success for content providers and PressReader, including distribution, revenue, and reader attraction and engagement.

In this role, you will:

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Develop contentrelated business to drive revenue and objectives for the wider company.
  • Represent PressReader externally at trade shows, events and partner meetings.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of content partners based on assigned countries/territories that are strategically important to the PressReader platform (digital newsstand and/or print).
  • Acquire key content based on B2B and consumer requirements, using countrylevel analyses, revenue projections and approved COGS budget to inform decisionmaking, seeking approval from Director level or above for committed expenditure items.
  • Negotiate contracts with new content partners as well as renegotiate old contracts to implement more preferential commercial terms.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with content partners, fostering regular communications to identify opportunities as well as the resolution of any issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and expand revenue opportunities within target countries, utilizing partner relationships to drive key objectives for content providers as well as PressReader targets relating to processing fees, sublicensable Compiled Editions, Gifting programs etc.
  • Participate and represent PressReader at various trade events internationally as well as inperson meetings within target countries, dependent on budget approval.
  • Work in tandem with the Technical Project Manager and Content Integration team to ensure all eBook content requirements are met for PressReader AYCR distribution, SBR management, worktext solutions and the consumer store.
  • Research and develop title list of required content to support business needs.
  • Manage Boundary Bay publishing program as directed by Group VP level or above.
  • Manage reporting requirements for partners and provide regular updates internally to management.
  • Train and coach other members of the Content Group in eBook management to ensure business continuity.
