Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) Engineered Systems commercial organisation has an opportunity for a Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for leading our Aftermarket Strategies across our VWTS Engineered Systems product lines and supporting our customers in the Great Lakes Region.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify needs and create partnerships with existing WTS and new customers
- Manage the entire sales process including lead generation, qualifying of opportunities, forecasting and closing deals
- Coordinate/generate the development of proposals and quotations
- Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of all Veolia WTS products and service offerings
- Accurately define opportunities including client benefits/KPIs, customer assets, service scope, key deliverables, timing
- Define scope, commercial and legal negotiations with support from regional services team, legal, finance, and HR
- Foster a strong partnership with other WTS commercial teams to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong and applied technical foundation in the water treatment industry with experience actively selling to customers at different levels and roles within their organization.
- Advanced understanding of water treatment operation, service and process design including Ultrafiltration, Electrodeionization, filtration, and reverse osmosis,
- Ability to effectively present ideas and information through the spoken and written word
- Creative, collaborative, and selfdirected
- Strong listening skills
- The ability to speak and write in both English and French, fluently, will be a strong asset.
- Demonstrated experience and comfortable with use of technology, including Office 365, Salesforce, SalesForce, and Google platform
Core Qualifications Required:
- At least 5 years of professional work experience with client services, relationship management and/or sales experience working with municipal customers within the water and wastewater treatment industry
- Field Service, Process Engineering, Project Management, and/or Piloting experience
- Experience with water treatment systems using Ultrafiltration and Electrodeionization
Preferred but not required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (chemical, industrial, or mechanical) or technical program
- Experience and/or knowledge of reverse osmosis systems, waste drying, anaerobic digestion, clarification, coagulation & General Filtration knowledge
- Bilingual
- English/French
Working Conditions:
