Overview:
Lafarge is hiring a
Journeyman Formwork Carpenters for our Vancouver Infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities:
- Heavy Civil
- Industrial, Infrastructure, and Roadwork Construction
- Forming, Stripping, Placing of Lafarge Ready-Mix Concrete
- Measure, cut, and assemble in accordance to the specifications provided
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints needed for concrete forms
- Assist other carpenters with the assembly of framework.
- Prepare layouts of forms from drawings that are provided
Qualifications:
- Must have ability to travel to multiple worksite locations, own vehicle is preferred due to the location of some of the worksites
- Carpenter Apprentice to Red Seal Journeyman.
- Experience preferably with formwork and on commercial projects.
- Team Player and safety orientated
- CSTS09 and other safety certificates are considered assets
