The opportunity
Manulife's Canada Disability & Group Life Team is looking for a
Manager, Disability System Support team.


Responsibilities

  • Works with Canadian disability and technology teams to drive issue resolution;
  • Leadership of various disability tax related initiatives and annual activities;
  • Removes barriers in complex situations to enable team to deliver shared accountabilities;
  • Responsible for executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders;
  • Coordinates across senior stakeholders to resolve complex issues spanning many groups;
  • Navigates cross team structures while using understanding of teams, cultures, and broader company;
  • Able to easily adapt and predict changing scope and complex priorities across teams;
  • Strong communication across multiple stakeholders through incident management;
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture;
  • Leverage data to drive prioritization and focus;
  • Create an environment where teams can demonstrate Manulife Values;
  • Recruits and hires talent to support teams;
  • Leadership and coaching skills to build High Performing teams;
  • Establish and cultivate internal and external partnerships;
  • Identify, develop, and retains industry top talent;

Qualifications

  • Experience working within Group Benefits technology environment and/or prior systems support experience;
  • Bachelor's degree in related field will be an asset.
  • Agile/SAFe certification and Group Benefits experience will be considered an asset;
  • Experience using SQL and Jira will be an asset
  • Bilingualism (English, French) is considered an asset.
  • Superior problemsolving, analytical, and prioritization skills;

Salary range is expected to be between
$55,125.
