Professional Interns have been an integral part of Birchwood for over 25 years. The professional intern program has evolved to include an immersive experience that focuses on personal and professional development. Our program is designed to create a network of empowered students who gain valuable skills while supporting Birchwood's purpose. Project
Opportunities

Analyze monthly client financial results using financial analysis models and tools.
Take part in a team environment while providing realtime collaborative feedback on asset procurement and reallocation.
Gain exposure to the used vehicle marketplace at an operational level, thus being strategically placed to influence decisionmaking.
Assist in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities.
Develop initiatives to reduce inventory inefficiencies and to improve inventory Return on Investment (ROI).

Qualifications:

Participating in a Coop program is an asset, however, not required.
Preferably in their third or fourth year of studies.
Creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions.
Demonstrates an understanding of Return on Investment, microeconomics, and business acumen.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills as you will deal with many industry stakeholders.
Thrive in a collaborative environment where team support is encouraged.
A commitment to learning and professional development.
Comfortable leveraging technology for most daytoday functions.
A valid class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation to work is required.
