UniTech Services Canada Ltd is growing and looking for a motivated, results-driven Onsite Laundry Coordinator and Shipper to join our team.
You will become an integral part of the UniTech team that implements the goals of a carbon free footprint in Canada via proven Reduce/Reuse/Recycle methodologies.

As an Onsite Laundry Coordinator & Shipper you will be based at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station in Bowmanville, ON.
- Work in accordance with prescribed UniTech and Site safety procedures and regulations
- Must be fully compliant at all times with UniTech Code of Conduct and Site Security Policies
- Use proper safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in an industrial work environment safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.
- Oversee the laundry/manage semiannual inventory
- Bring to the attention of Account Manager to and work to correct inventory discrepancies
- Interface with the site and UniTech staff to ensure needed materials are available
- Provide direct oversite for each shipment, prepare containers, classify, both radiological and customs documentation for export.
- Interface with UniTech US General Manager and Site for optimized shipping schedules and resolving servicerelated issues.
- Perform all Class 7 shipping activities and support for each shipment of used PPE.
- Any other activity approved by UniTech to support operations.

Experience
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook (UniTech will provide a company owned/secured PC laptop with approved software for use onsite)
- Proven communication skills both Written and Verbal (English)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required,
- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance for an unescorted access badge at Nuclear Station Site (includes: no criminal record/clean credit check) Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment
- Valid driver's license required (Class G License) with a clean driving record
- Valid Passport with no restrictions to travel to the UniTech facilities in the USA
- Able to engage in daily physical activity and periodically lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
