A Day in the Life


The Client Project Specialist is the key link between the Sales process and the Client becoming an integrated partner with NRI, while guiding both the Client team and NRI internal resources to ensure all steps are achieved to ensure a successful launch within NRI.

The Client Project Specialist will also oversee and steer client specific projects with a key goal of strengthening the partnership between NRI and the Client for both Canada and the USA.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Excellent technical capabilities with proficiency to learn internal and external software systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
  • Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

The Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of client/customer services experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field a plus
  • Project Management Certified (PMC) is an asset
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse.

Things You Will be Doing

  • Owns and leads the onboarding process of new Clients and ensures a positive customer experience throughout the process.
  • Liaises with Sales Team to ensure successful transition from Prospect to Account.
  • Establishes general client preferences and settings within NRI WMS (Aspire).
  • Liaises with NRI Systems Project Team to ensure successful systems integration.
  • Reviews forecast template and other documents with client to ensure full client understanding.
  • Liaises with Transportation team to ensure client preferences established and set within NRI's warehouse management system.
  • Performs 90day review of all new clients, makes recommendations for improvements/changes.
  • Manages all Client relations until onboarding is complete.
  • Follow NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
  • Performs other duties as requested
