The Data Analyst position is a newly created seat reporting to the Director, Information Systems & Corporate Risk, that will support the continued rapid growth of Dynamic Capital by providing key analytics and insights to inform both strategic and operational decisions across the organization.

This position is open to hybrid/remote work environments or based out of any of our physical locations in Prince George, Calgary, Kelowna, Edmonton, or Grande Prairie.

Please note that temporary relocation to Prince George, BC for initial onboarding will be required ( estimate of 6 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Mine and analyze data from company databases and external sources to identify trends and patterns to deliver actionable insights.
• Design, produce, and maintain regular and adhoc reports and dashboards to support business operations.
• Create reports and visualizations and effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify data and information needs to deliver on business objectives.
• Continuously monitor and improve data collection, cleansing, and analysis processes.
• Provide testing support for key internal software, as required.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and developments in data analysis and technology, and make recommendations for improvements and efficiency.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent specialized training/certification or work experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Familiarity via a combination of education and experience with programming and relational database tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with any of: Canadian Equipment Finance Industry, Enterprise/Corporate Risk concepts, or Financial Modelling considered an asset.
• Experience with Exago is considered an asset.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential; ability to summarize and present complex data and insights concisely to key stakeholders.
• Ability and passion to analyze and troubleshoot problems to find creative solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and understand the objectives of requests thoroughly to deliver accurate and meaningful results with efficiency.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks with little to no supervision.

Salary:
$55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
