We are seeking a senior sales professional for our energy portfolio within Jacobs Environmental Solutions (ES) business unit in Canada.

As a client account manager, you'll lead the growth of our environmental business with renewable energy, oil and gas, and utility clients.

This position will report to the Senior Director of Sales for the energy portfolio and work in partnership with our Operations and Talent Management functions to effectively support business growth and diversification in Canada.


Based out of a Canada office, you'll be responsible for maintaining Jacobs productive working relationships with existing clients and grow our business by expanding our client base, service offerings, and geographical project footprint.

A positive, relationship-oriented, and solutions-based approach will be a key part of this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Actively engage to address client needs and recommend strategic actions to optimize our investment and market growth.
  • Create deep, personal, and valuable client relationships between Jacobs personnel and client personnel (management, technical, functional, delivery) to facilitate positive working atmospheres, and to broaden the firm's understanding of our energy client's objectives.
  • Understand the competition in the energy marketplace and identify higher levels of client engagement for Jacobs executive sponsors.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Go/No Go decisions and help develop required sales costs aligned with opportunity potential and return on investment objectives.
  • Engage with Sales teams to influence sales process discipline, win strategy, proposal development, interviews, and presentations.
  • Develop and deliver on energy specific strategy, business plan, and KPIs.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client's needs, positioning Jacobs as the client's firmofchoice, while advocating to accomplish their mission.

Here's What You'll Need:


  • Knowledge of infrastructure project delivery from technical or sales and marketing experience.
  • Experience in account management and in positioning, preparing proposals, and winning projects with energy clients.
  • Strong history of building and cultivating partnerships with renewable energy, oil and gas, and utility clients.
  • Recognition in the industry as evidenced by client relationships and visibility in professional organizations or industry groups.
  • Experience with the environmental market and environmental service offerings (remediation and regeneration, environmental planning and permitting, compliance, and sustainability consulting).
  • Knowledge of SalesForce or similar sales pipeline tracking.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in an environmentalrelated field of study.
  • Proven ability to work across geographies and cultures, including strong engagement of Indigenous communities.
