THE ROLE

The Annual Giving Manager leads growth and retention strategies for our Canadian Armed Forces Charitable Funds - Support Our Troops and Soldier On.

Together with the Community Giving Team, the Annual Giving Manager leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for annual giving, including but not limited to individuals, third party events, and our signature events donors.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or a related field.


AND
Several years of experience in stakeholder management, event planning, project
management, marketing and business communication.


Experience
In program management and development
In generating and managing a network of community stakeholders
In researching economic and labour market trends and opportunities
In researching, drafting, interpreting, and editing policies and procedures
In liaising with corporate executives
In creating and conducting presentations and workshops
In planning and delivering national and regional events
In writing reports, briefing notes and other communications
In developing strategic plans and outcome measurement
In preparing agreements
In creating marketing plans


Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English or French essential, Bilingual an asset.

Enhanced Reliability.


This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

The selection process will be done virtually.
