As the Manager of Margin & Inventory Analytics, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, forecasting, and optimizing inventory.

Your responsibilities will involve aligning, tracking, measuring, and providing hindsight and recommendations to various business teams.

You will collaborate closely with internal partners, including Planning, Merchandising, Finance, and North American partners, to analyze monthly key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and provide valuable insights into the business.

This position requires a broad scope and scale, necessitating flexibility, adaptability to change, and comfort with ambiguity. We are looking for someone who is driven by curiosity, possesses strong analytical skills, offers constructive thoughts, and can influence decision-making at different levels within the organization


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Margin Analysis:

  • Gain and maintain an intricate understanding of strategies, business dynamics, risks, and opportunities, consolidating data into clear and comprehensive insights.
  • Analyze intricate data sets to identify risks and opportunities for improving margins.
  • Offer margin analysis for budgets, forecasts (R1, R2), and mandated reports.
  • Collaborate closely with inventory planning teams, offering multifaceted insights on margin and its impact on the business

Pricing:

  • Work in tandem with planning and finance teams to scrutinize the impact of pricing alterations on margins and overall profitability.
  • Vigilantly supervise pricing trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify potential pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Formulate recommendations on pricing strategies geared towards optimizing margins and growing profitability.

Inventory Analytics:

  • Consolidate and reconcile inventory data from diverse sources, ensuring precision and uniformity.
  • Collaborate with inventory operations and process teams to detect and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory metrics such as levels, turnover, and aging to finetune inventory management and minimize costs.
  • Develop advanced inventory forecasting models to support demand planning and optimize inventory management strategies.
  • Present clear analytical findings and insights to leadership and partners in a succinct and compelling manner.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to senior leadership and partners.
  • Foster alignment and comprehension of margin and inventory analytics across crossfunctional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Analytics) demonstrating your dedication to foundational knowledge.
  • Proven track record in margin analysis, inventory optimization, pricing analysis, and data analytics, showcasing your prowess in driving tangible outcomes.
  • Mastery in analytical tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools, highlighting your capability to extract actionable insights from sophisticated datasets.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, enabling you to efficiently convey intricate information to diverse partners, regardless of technical background.
  • Collaborative approach, adept at working seamlessly with crossfunctional teams and collaborators to achieve shared objectives.
  • Robust leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and steer a team towards excellence.
  • Proven resilience in navigating ambiguity, accepting change, and delivering impactful results in fastpaced environments.
  • Familiarity with the retail or supply chain industry, underscoring your potential to get going quickly in our dynamic domain.
