Dairy Lane Systems started in 1990 as a Surge milking equipment dealer.Since that time, we have expanded our scope to include automated milking robots, stabling, manure management, plumbing and ventilation services.
In 2021 we acquired 2 milking equipment dealerships in Western Canada.In addition to the milking equipment sales, service and installation business, we are also involved in the design, build and operation of renewable energy biogas plants (DLS Biogas), the construction of agricultural structures (DLS Structures) and the manufacturing of dairy farm equipment (DLS Manufacturing).

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday working out of our head office location. We offer a total compensation package which includes competitive pay, comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth and advancement, come grow with usCompensation commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
Compliance with all traffic laws, MTO and company regulations and requirements
Complete daily truck inspections, logs and required paperwork
Deliver and pick up all orders on time without concerns
Assist loading and unloading trailer
Tarping, chaining and strapping of trailer
Communication with DLS team and customers daily
Follow assigned delivery schedule for timely deliveries (changes daily)
Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
Follow Health and Safety requirements in all regards ensuring prevention of illness/injury
Qualifications
AZ license with clean commercial abstract and CVOR
Experience using a manual transmission
Minimum 2 years of experience as an AZ driver
Knowledge of truck weights, road limitations and some mechanical aptitude
Experience using a GPS
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Forklift license an asset
