Currently, our rapidly expanding team and site network is looking for a
Human Resources Manager who can work for us on a
full-time, permanent basis, in the
Greater Toronto
Area.

This
hybrid role will be able to be performed on a primarily remote basis, but there will be an occasional need to work out of our
Head Office (Toronto) or GTA area sites.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain programs, processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines to assist in aligning the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
  • Assist staff, supervisors, and managers in accurately interpreting HR programs, processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Maintain responsibility for the company's compliance with Canadian federal and provincial legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
  • Contribute and maintain an employeeoriented company culture that emphasized excellence, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Establish and maintain a wage and salary structure, pay policies, and variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises
  • Train people managers, including in performance management
  • Assist in the management of superior workforce development, employee retention, employee morale, and employee worklife balance
  • People management and oversight of the Canadian HR team
  • Recommend and assist in the design of employee training programs such as New Employee Orientation, Employee Performance Management, and others as identified
  • Maintain and update reporting of the company's HR metrics and data

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian HR legislation and best practices
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively using workplace technology, in person, and over the phone
  • Minimum 5 years of professional HR experience
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a management role
  • CHRP/CHRL (or completed coursework requirement) would be an asset
