Team Lead, First Nation Education Advocates.

Reporting to the Manager, First Nation Education Advocates, the
Team Lead's role is to support the Manager in guiding the work of First Nation Education Advocates and Junior Advocates in advancing academic outcomes for Indigenous students of the territory.

The position supports the First Nation Education Advocate (FNEA) team to develop, deliver and evaluate academic and culturally-relevant programming for students, families and caregivers.

It involves day-to-day supervision, coordination and scheduling for the FNEA team, with the potential primary focus on our evolving Junior Advocacy program.

The position will lead the team with their support to Indigenous students and their families in education, to advance education outcomes and create cultural opportunities and connections.

We are seeking someone passionate about Indigenous education and empowering youth. You must enjoy helping youth navigate employment, education, higher learning and employment opportunities.

This is a full time one year term position with possibility of extension.
