Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the provision of a senior level of confidential administrative and secretarial services to the Vice President of Infrastructure & Planning/CFO and as a member of the Administrative Support Team, contributes to the smooth operation of the Administration office as a whole.

This position requires an exceptionally skilled and competent individual, who is well-organized, detail-oriented and able to deal confidently and effectively with people and issues on behalf of the Care Group.

Travel between sites is required.


Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education (Business Administration preferred)
  • Significant experience providing administrative support, preferably in a health care environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Medical terminology
  • Excellent time management, prioritizing and problemsolving skills, including the ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Proficient in minutetaking
  • Selfstarter and a teamplayer
  • High level of computer literacy in a range of software including MS Office suite of programs; experience with Adobe Creative an asset
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain professionalism at all times
  • Travel between sites is required. Must provide own reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
